Through a patented
multi-layered coating and application process, Radiance™
offers photo catalytic properties combined with water-sheeting capabilities
to enhance the appearance of all windows.
A Two-Step Cleaning
Process
By using the
ultra-violet rays from the sun, Radiance™
breaks down organic materials that normally accumulate on the glass surface.
Although the coating process and chemistry are proprietary, the active
material in the coating is titanium dioxide. When exposed to sunlight, TiO2
creates a reaction that literally breaks down organics (dirt) over time. The
more UV that the window glass is exposed to, the better the performance of
the coating.
In addition to the
photo catalytic benefit, Radiance™
also has the ability to ‘sheet’ dirt, dust, and other debris away when
rinsed by rain or when sprayed with water from a hose. This rinsing benefit
not only cleans the glass with an even distribution of water, but minimizes
water droplet stains as the window dries.
For Residential and
Commercial Applications
Radiance™
is available in Single strength (2.5mm) through 1/4" (6mm) for both
residential and commercial glazing applications. The product coating is
durable, temperable, and as easy to handle as other coated products.
Radiance™
offers pleasing aesthetics and years of reduced maintenance when glazed as
the exterior lite in an insulating unit.
